    If you are in need of fine fabrics, we suggest you should check out Threads Magazine. On the website go to Advertisers Index, or buy a current issue in your local book or craft. The magazine is filled with reliable, quality suppliers."

  • Patterns
    Grannd (Also carries specialty sewing supplies and replica jewelry.)
    For further sew it yourself information, check out Voque Vintage patterns, Folkwear patterns, and the Halloween costume section of all commercial pattern companies available at most fabric stores.

  • Historical reproduction costumes
    Smoke and Fire Company
    Jas. Townsend and Son, Inc.
    The above retail operations make and sell reproduction clothing mostly of the late 18th and early 19th century styles. They also carry supplies, patterns, and small accessories.

  • Full-service theatrical suppliers
    Norcostco has locations nationwide (USA) to facilitate shipping and service. They sell stage and scenic equipment, makeup, costume wigs, small hand props, and rent costumes.

  • National costume rental companies
    Costume World
    Broadway Costumes
    While many other exist, here are two time-tested companies. Broadway Costumes in Chicago and Costume World in Florida. Rental requests should happen at least 8 weeks prior to needed date for best service availability.
